Let me begin by expressing how thrilled I am to be part of such a wonderful, vibrant community. YLMS is a welcoming place where we want to insure that every student grows and matures; becoming their best self. The support of the administration, parents, and community is very evident here at YLMS. I am proud and honored to be part of this "Bobcat Family".

With over twenty years of teaching experience, I have enjoyed varied teaching adventures with a variety of age groups. By far, the middle schoolers are the best! Every day is an adventure and there are big goals to accomplish.

Native to Orange County, I am a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, and Azusa Pacific University. My certifications include both a Multiple Subject Credential and a Single Subject Science Credential. I have a M.A. in Curriculum and Instructions as well as a M.A. in Educational Leadership. I hope to be a model of a life-long learner to my students.

Although I love literature and history, science is my passion and I am driven to share that enthusiasm with my students. It is my goal to instill in each of my students the curiosity and wonder for all things Science!
