After you have read the information in this letter, please click the button below or visit the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) website to fill out a mandatory online form in order to choose which instructional model you would like your student(s) to participate in once in-person hybrid learning begins.

The instructional model options for when the district implements hybrid learning are:

• REMOTE LEARNING: My student will continue instruction through the district's 100% remote learning model at their current school.

• IN-PERSON HYBRID LEARNING: My student will attend in-person instruction through the district's hybrid learning model once it is implemented at their current school.

• BUENA VISTA VIRTUAL ACADEMY (100% Online School): My student will remain enrolled at Buena Vista Virtual Academy or I will be contacting Buena Vista Virtual Academy to enroll.

• PARKVIEW SCHOOL (Homeschool Program): My student will remain enrolled at Parkview School or I will be contacting Parkview School to enroll.

Families may change instructional models from remote to hybrid learning or vice versa at the prescribed dates below. However, if your family circumstances necessitate an earlier change, your home/assigned school will work with your family to support the continued education of your student. Please contact your student’s school directly.

• Elementary Schools: Monday, January 4, 2021 (End of Winter Break)

• Please complete a separate form for each individual student in your family on or before Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 12:00 PM
