The counseling program's success relies on developing and maintaining supportive relationships with students. Due to trust and rapport, along with evaluating data, such as academic, attendance, and discipline, counselors are able to identify needs and so effective interventions are implemented. Necessary interventions are driven to nurture academic skills, emotional needs, and essentially removing barriers to learning which is critical for overall student success and personal growth.
The end result of this work is reflected in improvement in academic, attendance and discipline outcomes related to academic development, college and career readiness and social emotional development. Our hopes are that students grow to become contributing citizen's in tomorrow's society while remaining genuine to self, and feel confident to thrive.
