Meet the Librarian

This is my 2nd year at VMSA.  Before that I worked BYMS for 13 years and at Glenknoll Elementary  for 3 year as their librarian.  

I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors degree in Education with an emphasis on Reading.  I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Library and Information Sciences at Alabama.

I have 2 children.  My son graduated from Esperanza and Austin Peay State University.  He is currently working at UMASS Dartmouth as a football coach.  My daughter attends school in the PYLUSD district.

I enjoy working the with students in the library.  I love watching students learn and get excited about reading.
