The purpose of the summer assignment is to provide you with the prerequisite background knowledge required for the start of the academic calendar, while introducing you to the concepts and themes of human geography. There are additional online resources available to help you with the different components of the summer assignment, however it is your responsibility as an AP student to find these resources.
The entirety of your assignment must be neatly handwritten in blue or black ink pen and written in your own words. If you are including outside information, you must have proper citations.
How you manage your time to complete this assignment is entirely up to you, however the organized student will plan on completing two current events a week.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the expectations for the summer assignment you may contact Mr. Bradford via email (jobradford@pylusd.org). During the summer, it may take Mr. Bradford a few days to respond.
