You will turn in the following three assignments the day after the AP exam. You are required to complete them and will earn a grade based on the quality of your work. If you lose your copy of a handout or an assignment, you may print one here. Please note that some of the files do not include extra pagers, so you may need to reprint multiple copies if you lose your originals.
Take notes on each item on the KBAT. Notes can be as simple or as detailed as you like as long as you write something about each term. Notes must be taken on a separate sheet of paper.
Models & Theories Packet
Fill out the graphic organizer for each of the models and theories included in the packet.
Country Profile Graphic Organizers
Complete a separate graphic organizer for each country listed in the directions. You can use your textbook, review book, and/or online resources to complete the profile sheets. You can also use the Country Case Studies quizlet. You can also find the Country Profile Graphic Organizers made by your classmates posted on Google Classroom.
AP Exam Review Book (Extra Credit)
Purchase an AP Exam Review book for AP Human Geography. Annotate and highlight the information in the review book. Take all practice exams and complete all activities. Please note, if purchasing a review book is a financial hardship for your, please see me and we can work something out.
College Board Resources:
Use the AP Classroom to retake all of the practice tests from units 1-7. You can also watch instructional videos created by high school teachers and college professors on each topic included in this course. The College Board is the one who creates the AP Exam, so using their resources is probably a really good idea.
AP Daily: Practice Sessions and Live Review
These are live review videos put together by the College Board, you can see the live schedule HERE. You can watch them live on Youtube or re-watch them on demand at your convenience by clicking HERE. You can also access them in the AP Classroom. All review videos can be found on the Review tab, under Course Resources. Great resource provided to you by the people who create your AP exam, probably worth checking out!
Your AP Human Geography test will be online. The College Board has provided practice tests on Bluebook for all subjects. You can click on the link and follow the College Board's directions for downloading Bluebook to complete the practice tests.
It is always good to know what the College Board thinks you should know about a topic. Looking at former FRQ rubrics gives you a good understanding of what the College Board thinks you should know about some of the very significant topics that could be covered on the AP Exam.
This section of the College Board's website goes into some detail on how to write the type of FRQ they are hoping to see. These are the same strategies we have been working on all year, but it would serve you well to have a really clear understanding of the College Board's expectations.
Textbook Resources:
This document includes all of the terms from past KBATs and includes outlines for of the all former possible FRQ topics (created by a former student).
Country Case Studies:
This assignment can help you complete the Country Profile Assignment. It is also a really good source information on countries that we have covered a lot in this course. It includes specific information for different countries as it relates to various units covered this year.
Old Textbook Reviews:
These chapter overviews include a breakdown of some of the major themes of each chapter with visuals.
This document is breaks down each chapter of our old textbook by key issue. It includes vocabulary terms and an overview of the main ideas.
Comprehensive Reviews (Very Thorough!):
This document includes a detailed breakdown/overview of each unit. I will be referencing this document frequently during our lunch reviews.
This is a very large "pre-test". Unfortunately, there is no key. But you can use this as another diagnostic assessment to make you more aware of your strengths and weaknesses regarding the content.
FRQ Help:
We will be going over these PowerPoints in class to give us some last minute reminders and practice for writing a strong FRQ.

These documents are both very thorough and detailed breakdowns of the different models/theories we have covered across all our units of study this year.
