The Yearbook program at Esperanza High School gives students the opportunity to create the school’s annual yearbook while developing skills in writing, photography, design, and layout. Students work collaboratively to capture campus events and student life while gaining experience in publishing and media production.

Yearbook is a fine-art, project-based elective that gives students the opportunity to document and celebrate the school year through the creation of the school’s yearbook. Students develop skills in journalism, photography, graphic design, writing, editing, and digital publishing while collaborating to produce a professional-quality publication that captures the people, events, and experiences of their school community. The course emphasizes creativity, communication, organization, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines. Students gain hands-on experience in storytelling, interviewing, layout design, and project management while creating a lasting record of the school year.
