Kapa Haka

Kapa Haka is an integral part of our school curriculum. Lead by our tutor, Matua Tumanako, our ākonga learn a range of waiata and haka during the weekly sessions. This supports understanding of local knowledge and developing a strong sense of turangawaewae (identity). We have both a senior and junior Kapa Haka Performance Rōpū for students who want to develop their passion and skills further.
