Extended Stay

Over the years, many people have used our events to schedule a family or friends vacation. As long as you are there, you might as well enjoy everything that the area has to offer. The hotel will work with you on packaging other rooms or an extended stay if you desire. If you have questions, check with the hotel, or let us know.

If your travel plans include an extended stay in the Las Vegas area, there are many different places to explore beyond the strip and the resorts.

Locally, the Mob Museum has become a favorite among tourists if you would like to learn more about the history of the mob activities, both in Las Vegas and the country. Set in the old city hall, this museum has become a favorite for many people.

Freemont Street is a different kind of venue, and many people prefer this for their entertainment. Ziplines, a nighttime overhead video show, and much more awaits you in "Old Las Vegas". Just a short cab ride from the strip.

A half hour from the strip is Red Rock National Conservation Area, a beautiful treasure that gets you into the desert setting, with lots of hiking trails. Or travel south to Sloan Canyon, a new hiking area that has Indian petroglyphs believed to be over 1,000 years old.

Hoover Dam on the Colorado River is a short 45 minute drive from the Strip. There is a tour of the dam, and you can walk over the dam, or the new high level viewing station. Learn about the drought issues of the southwest, and the dam's impact.

Skydiving? Helicopter tours over the Grand Canyon? Ziplining in the mountains? All available within an hour of the strip, if you have the time.

Want to golf? It is year-round in Vegas, on championship courses. Ask us for recommendations, there are too many to list.

Within a few hours drive, there are multiple National Parks to explore. Most popular are Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon.

Want to snow ski or tube? An hour's drive gets you to Mt. Charleston at 10,000 feet, or travel to Utah (2-3 hours) to Brian Head Resort for magnificent powder.

There is more to do, too numerous to mention, just ask and we will be glad to offer suggestions.
