Cleaning devices!
In light of the health issues the world is going through right now, we thought it prudent to remind you, and share with you, important steps to clean your technology, as we use it on a daily basis, but often forget about what it may carry or that it needs to be cleaned.
If you have any Apple devices, this link will take you to their website with updated information on cleaning. Cleaning Apple Products.
They have added this information:
Is it OK to use a disinfectant on my Apple product?
Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces. Don't use bleach. Avoid getting moisture in any opening, and don't submerge your Apple product in any cleaning agents. Don't use on fabric or leather surfaces.
In the case of other technology - we recommend following the same steps for any sort of technology you have. Acer also mentions the same steps as Apple -
Use a soft, moist cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. It is ok to use a 70% isopropyl alcohol cleaning wipes to gently clean hard, nonporous external surfaces. Do not use alcohol or other liquid cleaners.
Happy hand washing everyone!
