I'm a Grande Prairie original recipe, and after completing my Education degree through the TEN program, I began teaching at Peace Wapiti Academy in 2014. Over the years, I’ve taught science and drama and developed a passion for using technology to enhance student learning. The shift to online learning inspired me to complete a Master’s degree in Educational Technology.
I’m passionate about coding, robotics, inclusive education, and musical theatre. When I'm not working, you'll find me catering to the whims of my cat, Mrs. Bigglesworth, who rules the Younger household with an iron paw.

I began my PWPSD career in 2004, but have been teaching since 1994. In that time, I have taught every subject in Grades 1 to 8, including having 4 grades all together when I started my career teaching French Immersion. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach in several schools around the world, including Egypt, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. I realize that I thrive on change, which is exactly why I love my position on the Education Technologist team. With the ever-changing world that is technology, I am passionate about helping everyone around me become more confident and comfortable integrating it into their daily lives. Technology has arrived. It is not going away. We must be aware of its capabilities and consequences and use it in a way that will enhance our lives rather than impede them.
