Integrated Learning

PVUSD uses the California State Standards for Visual and Performing Arts education. These are aligned with the National Arts Core Standards.

Art instruction addresses National Art Standards, English and Academic Language Development Standards, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based problem solving lesson design, as well as cross curricular connections to themes in Benchmark, Bridges, and other district adopted curriculum.
