STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Student Leadership is an opportunity for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to develop their leadership skills and contribute to their school. Two students from each 4th-6th grade class are elected to represent their class at monthly meetings.
ACTIVITIES
- Meet with Mrs. Avey once a month
- Gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a leader; develop your leadership skills
- Coordinate activities like Socktober, Pennies for Patients, and Crayola ColorCycle
- Plan and promote regular Spirit Days
- Organize and help run the book and art table during K-3 recesses
COMMITMENTS
- Monthly meetings from 12:15 - 1:00
- Work one weekly shift at the K-3 recess book and art table
- Make up any missed classwork
- Regularly check the shared google doc for important reminders and updates
- Create Spirit Day posters
- Share information with other classrooms after each meeting
