Advanced Placement Courses & Honors courses give high school students a chance to do college-level work while enrolled in high school. If the student earns a grade of "C" or higher in the course they will get a 1 point bump on their GPA.
Student are required to take the Advanced Placement exam in the Spring and if they earn a score of 3, 4 or 5 may be eligible to receive college credit. Students who desire to enroll in AP courses must complete the course request and subsequently, a commitment form.
