Hi Mariners!
My name is Miriam Medina. I'm a first-generation college graduate. I attended UC Santa Cruz and earned a B.A. in Psychology and Latin American and Latino Studies. I am currently pursuing a M.A. in Counseling and a PPS credential at San Jose State. A highlight about my undergraduate college experience would be studying abroad in Santiago, Chile for six months! I have worked with the UCSC EAOP & Access teams for five years now, and I'm excited to be working with the AHS community now!
I'm looking forward to meeting Access Program students and supporting you all through your high school journey. Please don't hesitate to stop by the College and Career center with any questions you have, or just to say hi!

Katie Guy

Hi there, Mariners!
My name is Katie Guy. I graduated from UC Davis in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Political Science (Go Aggies!). I then went on to serve a year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Upon returning to the US I earned my single subject social science teaching credential as well as my Master's in Education. Before joining the ACCESS team I taught high school social science.
I am excited to continue supporting students in my new role as your College Facilitator.

Hello Mariners! My name is Daisy Gonzalez and I am a first-generation college student. I am Cabrillo College graduate and currently, I am attending California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) to pursue my degree in Human Development and Family Science! During my free time, I like to taste new foods and spend time with my family and dogs!

Hi Mariners, my name is Kirsten. I attend Cabrillo College and am currently working towards a degree in Engineering. I love all animals, I currently have 6 cats, and up to 50 fish. I also love to roller skate, play video games and swim. Currently I am hoping to attend college in a city, hopefully I can be in New York alongside my sister.
