is communicated in a weekly email to parents & included in the Homework folder on Mondays.*
1. Daily Reading: Parent & Child read together for 20 minutes each day
2. Homework Packet: Examples of homework activities are UFLI making words, Math connections, & Life Skills (such as learning birthday, phone number, address, how to tie shoes, helping with chores.
3. Home reading program: Each week students will bring home a "just right" reader they have read in class. You can celebrate their reading success by encouraging them read their book to as many family members as possible.
