Welcome Back To School - Room 5 Scholars!
My name is Michelle Sciarillo, and I am so happy to be your new 3rd-grade teacher! I am excited to begin this learning adventure together and can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you.
My goal is to help you become a strong leader who can communicate, collaborate, and show kindness to your classmates and our Room 5 family. Together, we will learn how to work as a team, solve problems, and support one another as we grow and learn.
This year, we will discover what it means to use a “Growth Mindset to Zing!” as we take on new challenges, learn new things, and discover that mistakes are an important part of learning.
I look forward to getting to know you, learning about your interests and talents, and discovering what makes you uniquely and wonderfully YOU!
I’m so excited for the amazing year ahead!
Welcome to Room 5!
Here is a little bit about me! My husband’s name is Keith, and we live here in Camarillo. I have three children of my own: Cory, Catey, and Tina, and I am also a proud grandma to four wonderful grandchildren: Ayden, Juliette, Skylar, and Ruby.
All of my children and grandchildren have attended Camarillo Heights STEM Academy, so our family has a special connection to our school community!
When we aren’t busy with school, our family loves spending time together. We enjoy going to the beach, camping, riding our bikes and scooters, and, of course, making trips to Disneyland!
I have been teaching for over 20 years, and I truly love what I do! Being a teacher is something I feel very lucky to do, and I look forward to making this year a fun, meaningful, and memorable learning adventure with my Room 5 scholars!
