Hi Students and Parents!

We are moving to a distance learning model beginning Monday, March 30th. I will be posting all lessons/activities in Google Classroom as well as an abbreviated version on my Teacher page under the Assignments Distance Learning tab. Students, please use Google Classroom and read through the assignments CAREFULLY. You will find these posted on the stream as well as under the "classwork" tab.

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED - Every Monday students must verify attendance via a Google Form. This Attendance Form is located in Google Classroom under the "Classwork" tab. After doing so students should get a preview of the week's assignments right underneath the form.

MY AVAILABILITY - I am available through email from 8:15-3:25 daily for students and parents. I will do my best to return emails within 24 except on weekends. It is my goal to give timely feedback on assignments in Google Classroom but please be mindful that due to large PE class sizes, I have almost 270 students. I am also available to video chat with students through Google Meet or Zoom during my office hours. If students have questions or simply need some face-to-face interaction, I am available during those times to chat. I will post the Google Meet/Zoom code 5-10 minutes prior to the start of office hours.

LEARNING/ASSIGNMENTS - Students are required to perform and document all physical activities with the expectation that it will be at least 5 hours per week. However, the CDC recommended amount is 60 minutes a day, daily. Some physical activities will be assigned while many others can be student choice. In addition to physical activity, academic physical literacy assignments will also be given.

SUPPLEMENTAL CONTENT - I will have a bank of workout videos on Google Classroom, which students may utilize at any time. Additionally, there will be information on health and well being for students to view.
