All 4th-8th grade students are welcome to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 12 at 12:30 in Mrs. Farrell's classroom. The Rotary Track Meet is held annually at Adolfo Camarillo High School where students compete against other schools in PVSD in both track and field events. This year's track meet will be held on Saturday, May 17.
Please help support our school and our class by joining the PTO for just $10!
The PTO helps raise funds for school equipment and supplies! The PTO helps raise a $500 allotment for each teacher to provide their students with supplies, prizes, equipment, and learning resources! This year, we are competing to see which class can get to 100% parent enrollment! Thank you for your support!
In fourth grade we really dive into multi-digit multiplication, which can be difficult for students who are still struggling with their multiplication math facts. It is important for students to be fluent with their multiplication math facts in order for them to be successful when solving both multiplication and division problems. Many of the errors made my students are little mistakes that ultimately result in the wrong answer. I always encourage students to practice their basic multiplication math facts at home. DRILL & KILL! Some ways to practice are making flashcards, quizzing your child, and coming up with fun songs or rhymes to memorize.
