Welcome and Classroom Information

Ms. Feinberg is delighted to be teaching at Monte Vista School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Ecology from the University Of California at Irvine (Go Anteaters!). She continued on at UCI and received her teaching credential. She taught for eleven years in the Capistrano Unified School District primarily concentrating in Sixth Grade. This is her seventeenth year teaching with the Pleasant Valley School District. She is especially excited about the Block Schedule unique to Monte Vista. Looking forward to a creative and stimulating academic year, Ms. Feinberg will be teaching Sixth Grade Ancient Civilizations and Seventh Grade Medieval History.

Ms. Feinberg lives here in beautiful Camarillo. Her daughter, Rachel, graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson, was a proud MVS Toro! Her son, Geoffrey, graduated from the University of Texas~~ Hook 'em horns! Mr. Boots is the watch cat of the house. In her free time, Ms. Feinberg loves to read, enjoys gardening, yoga, exercising and traveling.In fact, this past summer she enjoyed traveling to Portugal and Spain.

Her mission is to assist her students in becoming responsible, productive, successful individuals by providing them with challenging classroom assignments, dynamic discussions, and enriching activities that promote divergent thinking.
