Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I’m excited for my first year at Las Colinas and look forward to a great year ahead.
The best way for students to stay on top of their assignments is by regularly updating their agendas. My contact information is listed below, so feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Please remember to check Parent Connect/Student Connect regularly to monitor your child's progress. While I use Google Classroom to share information and assignments, Parent Connect/Student Connect is the primary platform for tracking grades.
About Me:
This is my 7th year teaching, and I have experience working with students from TK through 8th grade. I graduated from CSUCI with a BA in Liberal Studies, concentrating in special education. I also earned two credentials (Education Specialist and Multiple Subject) and an MA in Education, with an emphasis on social-emotional learning, from AU. Currently, I’m pursuing my doctoral degree, with my dissertation focusing on the collaboration between special and general education teachers, a topic I view as a social justice issue.
I love what I do and am passionate about being a supportive presence for students. Outside of teaching, I have a cat named Juice, my partner, and a wonderful family. I enjoy traveling, playing and watching sports, and as a Ventura County local, I’m dedicated to giving back to my community by sharing the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my educational journey.
