Classroom Expectations

Mrs. Kim’s 2026-2027 5th Grade Classroom (C3) 

Classroom expectation:

If what you're doing.. 

DISRUPTS learning,

DISRESPECTS others,

or PREVENTS you from becoming your best self,

then it's not the right choice 

In cases where students are not responsible or respectful, students are reminded by the teacher and will fill out a behavior form after the first reminder. The behavior form refreshes monthly. 

1) Student will fill out a behavior form explaining what happened. The student will sign the form and return it to the teacher.

2) Student will fill out the second portion of the behavior form explaing what happened. The student will sign the form, get a signature from home, and return it the following day. 

3) Student will fill out the third portion of the behavior form explaining what happened. The student will sign the form and return it to the teacher. The teacher will call home and discuss how to best support the student with ongoing behavior that is negatively impacting the learning environment for all students. Parent conferences can be held as needed/ requested.

**Due to receiving three tallies in one month, the student will lose all of the free play time on Friday and lose their classroom job. Students can apply for a classroom job the following month.

Students agree to try their best every day to be responsible, be respectful, and to have fun at school. By doing so, C3 will be a safe environment for all students to learn.
