Mrs. Kim’s 2026-2027 5th Grade Classroom (C3)
Students of Mrs.Kim’s class decided on two expectations for this school year:
Be responsible
Be respectful
In cases where students are not responsible or respectful, students are reminded by the teacher and will fill out a behavior form after the first reminder. The behavior form refreshes monthly.
1) Student will fill out a behavior form explaining what they did. The student will sign the form and return it to the teacher.
2) Student will fill out the second portion of the behavior form explaing what they did. The student will sign the form, get a signature from home, and return it the following day.
3) Student will fill out the third portion of the behavior form explaining what they did. The student will sign the form and return it to the teacher. The teacher will call home and discuss how to best support the student with ongoing unwanted behavior. Parent conferences can be held as needed/ requested.
**Due to receiving three tallies in one month, the student will lose all of the free play time on Friday and lose their classroom job. Students can be rehired the following month. Receiving tallies not only disturbs the student’s learning but also interrupts the learning environment for the rest of the students in the class. **
Students agree to try their best every day to be responsible, be respectful, and to have fun at school. By doing so, c3 will be a safe environment for all students to learn.
