Welcome to Mrs.Kim's Class!
I'm so excited for the 2024-2025 school year at Los Primeros School of Sciences and Arts. Amazing learning will be going on in our class this school year! I will make sure all students feel welcomed and find a place in our classroom. Students are expected to have FUN while learning.
This will be my 9th year of teaching. Previously, I've taught Transitional Kindergarten, Third Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade and Sixth Grade Students. I received my Bachelors at California State University of Fullerton majoring in Child and Adolescent Development. I continued my journey at CSUF receiving my Multiple Subjects Credential. Knowing I want to take part in a making a positive impact in the lives of children, I went on to receive my Masters in Educational Administration at Concordia University of Irvine.
Growing up, I took part in a lot of extracurricular activities including volleyball, soccer, track and fields, cheerleading, swimming, orchestra (cello), and piano. Now as an adult, I love going on hikes, indoor rock climbing, spending my time at the beach, and reading books.
I am a mother of a 1 year old and understand how important and precious our children are to our lives. I feel fortunate to be able to be a part of your child's learning journey and hope to be there for them not just for their academic needs but also emotional needs.
