Homework is assigned nightly, Monday - Thursday, and is typically due the next day. There is no homework on Fridays.

toil - hard work that goes on and on, exhausting work
first-person - what it’s called when a person is talking about himself or herself (uses the words “I”, “me”, “my”, etc.)
