A Little About Me......
Hello, my name is Carla Malagon, and I’m so excited to be your child’s First Grade teacher this school year. We’re going to have a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and exciting new adventures!
I was born and raised in Oxnard, CA, and moved to Camarillo in 2016. This is my fourth year teaching at PVSEA and my third year as a First-Grade teacher. Outside the classroom, I enjoy crocheting, reading, and spending quality time with my husband and our four wonderful children.
I am truly looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year with your child. Together, we will make unforgettable memories and achieve great things! Let’s make this year a fantastic one!

I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband, the boy next door, for over 21 years. Together, we’ve been blessed with four amazing children, ranging from 19 to 12 years old. Our two youngest, twins, are a proud product of our cherished school, PVSEA.

Outside of work, I love to create! During my many years as a stay at home mama, I learned how to crochet & sew. You'll often find a ball of yarn and my crochet hooks inside my handbag (which I probably made).

Besides my love for creating, I enjoy the outdoors. My family & I love to spend time in Yosemite. Camping and going on hikes are common in this family!
