My name is Mr. Castaneda. I was born in Guerrero, Mexico and grew up here in the United States. I am an alumni of California State University, Channel Island and National University. I have been teaching at Las Colinas for the past 8 years. I teach Introduction to Spanish, Spanish 1, and during the Summer, I teach Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 at a local high school.
A little about my life outside of teaching: I spend most of my time with my wife and son exploring the nearby beaches, museums, and parks. I enjoy playing basketball, and am an advocate of getting outside, and getting active.
