Hello!!

Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Miss Jones and I am so excited for this school year! I am a Ventura County native and grew up attending PVSD! I attended CSU Channel Islands for my bachelor’s degree as well as my multiple subject teaching credential with a specialization in physical education.

This is my second year teaching at Las Posas Elementary after being a teacher’s assistant and substitute teacher in various districts. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to help people when I got older and helping young students is what I love! I love teaching and learning from my students daily.

Aside from teaching, I love staying active. My boyfriend, Jack, and I love to go on adventures and travel! Also, I spend time and play with my dog, Ollie, every day. I also play on a semi-professional soccer team, Crown and Anchor Lionesses.

I enjoy riding my bike on the weekends! Besides my own, my favorite soccer teams is the US Women’s National Team. My favorite football teams are the Rams and the Chargers. I also love baseball, I am a huge fan of the Dodgers. Some of my other loves are Star Wars, coffee, amazon, and spending time with my family!
