Mrs. Kyriacou

I am looking forward to an exciting year with your transitional kindergarten children. TK is part one of a two-part, district-wide kindergarten program. Please check this site once a week for updates on schedules, homework, and more. Please contact me at if you have any good news, questions, or concerns.

  • In the morning, students should be accompanied by an adult while waiting outside the classroom. Lunches are placed on the cart just inside the classroom door. Students should put their snacks in the snack basket and hold on to their water bottle and lunch to place them in the designated places in our classroom. Please do not play on the playground before or after school (including siblings).
  • Students should wear tennis shoe style shoes to school every day for safety on the playground.
  • Birthdays are celebrated in the classroom with a pencil, headband, and sticker given to the birthday child. We also sing "Happy Birthday" and ask three questions about the birthday child. District policy does not allow us to bring cupcakes, treats, gifts, etc. from home for birthdays.
