Student confidentiality is important to me. 

In the school counseling office, what is said here, stays here,

with the following exceptions, as required by law and/or

ethical standards:

1. Harm to self or others

2. Abuse or neglect

3. Court or other legal proceedings

If there is ever a need to reveal information, I will speak with the student in advance, and handle the situation in a way that is respectful of their feelings and responsive to their needs.
