Sonic 3 was released a while ago, and honestly, it was amazing. This movie was so great some may even call this movie a masterpiece. Sonic 3 was the 3rd installment in the Sonic movie series. In Sonic 3, the main villains are Gerald Robotnik and Shadow. The reason why  Gerald Robotnik and Shadow are villains is that they both want vengeance for the death of Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter, Maria. They plan to achieve this vengeance by destroying the world. In the end, after a battle with Sonic, Shadow realizes that Mazzria would not want him to do this and stops the weapon from hitting the Earth. Overall, this movie was great, but this isn't where the movie truly ends. Before I tell you how the movie truly ends, I need to add more context. Going into this movie, Sonic fans knew that this was going to be another villain-turned-hero story like Sonic 2, and fans were ok with this trope being used in Sonic 3, but fans were really hoping that they would not overuse this trope by making Sonic 4 a villain-turned-hero story. Ok, now let's go back to the end of Sonic 3. In the post-credits scene of Sonic 3, Sonic raced Tails and Knuckles, and Sonic won the race, but when Sonic won, a bunch of Metal Sonics ambushed him. Luckily, he gets saved by a new character named Amy. After that, Sonic fans were happy since Metal Sonic is a villain in the games and is programmed to destroy Sonic, so fans know that there is no way that this robot is turning good. Also, Sonic fans were happy that Shadow survived since it was shown in another post-credits scene. So, all in all, Sonic fans are really happy with Sonic 3 and are even more excited for Sonic 4.
