News and Information

Welcome to my homepage. Please use this site to keep posted on upcoming events and assignments. As a reminder the students are also responsible for keeping track of certain events and assignments in their school planner. About me, My name is Mr. Chambers and this is my 20th year teaching at Las Colinas Middle School.  For the past few years I have been teaching World History and have been the yearbook and ASB advisor.  I received my undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University and my teaching credential from California State University Northridge.  I  completed my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.  My wife, Hallie, works in the Las Virgenes School District.  We have a eleven year old son and seven year old  daughter. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, traveling, golfing, and running.

 Homework Policy: 

If you are absent it is your responsibility to find out the work that you missed and turn in any assignments.  If an assignment is not turned in on the due date you may turn it in late for half credit.  

Attention Parents/Guardians. If you would like to monitor and help your child stay up to date with their work via distance learning please send me an email and I can grant you access to our Google classroom. Please include the name of your child and the class period. 

Homework Assignments: General homework assignments would be classwork not completed in class. Ample time is provided for students to complete their assignment during the instructional period. Please refer to the daily agendas/presentations posted in Google Classroom.
