School Counseling

Welcome Back Students & Families!

I am beginning my seventh year as a school counselor with Pleasant Valley School District. I started my career in education as a 6th grade teacher and now on my 18th year as a school counselor. As your school counselor, I have the privilege to interact and support ALL students through classroom lessons, small counseling groups, restorative practices, as well as crisis and academic intervention. I also collaborate with school staff and parents to best meet the needs of students. My passion is guiding students to achieve their academic goals, social & emotional development, and individual achievements. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my two sons, my husband and our dog Teddy.  I am also a native Spanish speaker. I enjoy traveling in Mexico and immersing myself in the culture.
