Welcome, My name is Mrs. Shakouri, and I am proud to serve as your student's school counselor dedicated to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and well-being of all students.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge and went on to complete my Masters in Educational Psychology and Counseling.  I also hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling from UMASS.

I spearheaded and launched the Wellness Centers at the comprehensive middle schools back in 2021.  I am excited about the opportunity to create a Wellness space for Cam Heights students.  I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive.  I am committed to providing the support, guidance, and resources students need to become healthy, happy and successful learners.  My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where all students feel seen, heard, and valued.
