If you are auditioning for a leading role, we strongly encourage you to prepare the beginning section of ONE of the following:

• 🎶 Jolly Holiday

• 🎶 Practically Perfect

If you are not auditioning for a lead role, or would prefer a simpler option, you may instead prepare:

• 🎶 Let’s Go Fly a Kite

🎧 How to Practice

Step 1: First, listen to the guided track with voices to learn your notes, rhythms, and lyrics.

Step 2: Once you feel comfortable with the notes and rhythms, practice with the audition track without voices.

⭐ IMPORTANT: The audition track is what you will hear during your audition.

🎤 Want to Sing a Different Song?

If you would like to prepare a different song, that is absolutely fine! Please either:

• Bring your own audio track ready to play from your phone, or

• Sing a cappella (without music).

⭐ Preparing for a Specific Lead?

If you are auditioning for a specific lead role, please listen to and become familiar with that character’s song. You may be asked to sing a small portion of it during callbacks.

• Jane/Michael: The Perfect Nanny

• Mrs. Andrews: Brimstone & Treacle

• George Banks: A Man Has Dreams

You do not need to prepare the entire song. Focus on becoming comfortable with the beginning section of your audition song and familiarizing yourself with your character’s song.
