September Student of the Month
The Journey Team is proud to name Nico Morrell as our September Student of the Month. This young man is the epitome of professionalism in our classrooms. He is consistently prepared, works diligently to complete his work, and is open to coaching and direction. Nico holds himself to high standards whether it comes to his work, his interactions with his peers, or how he acts in class. We can always count on him to do the right thing, make good choices, and his kindness to everyone on the team has not gone unnoticed. Nico is always caring, responsible, respectful, and his positive attitude is part of what makes the Journey Team West Strong.
October Student of the Month
The Journey Team's Student of the Month for October is Jordyn Bearoff, and we could not be more pleased with our choice. Jordyn has a maturity that stands out in her classes. She meets each challenge presented to her with confidence and a mindset that prepares her for success. She is serious about her schoolwork and uses her time in school to the best of her ability. Most importantly, Jordyn's kindness and respect for others truly makes her recognized as a role model on our team. Thank you, Jordyn, for showing us what it means to be WEST STRONG!
November Student of the Month
Hailey Pitchford was a unanimous choice for our November Student of the Month. Hailey has a quiet positive presence about her that uplifts every classroom she is in. We appreciate her mature attitude towards her classwork and how she takes responsibility to complete her work to the best of her ability. She holds herself to high standards, while still participating in extracurricular activities. As with all of our Students of the Month, Hailey exhibits kindness, patience, and understanding towards her classmates and the team can always count on her to be respectful and responsible in all scenarios. Thank you, Hailey, for being such an excellent role model to others! We appreciate you!!
December Student of the Month
The Journey Team Student of the Month for December is Allen Jollay! Allen stands out on our team for possessing well-rounded excellence in his educational experience at West. The teachers on the Journey Team can always count on Allen to show up each day prepared for class and ready to engage as a strong listener and active participator. His high grades reflect this work ethic. Allen also embraces the role of being a supportive teammate to others. He takes time to help his classmates through challenges and empathizes with those around him. Allen is a quiet force of good on our team- the kind that sometimes goes unnoticed. We see you, Allen, and we appreciate all that you are!
January Student of the Month
We are proud to name Bella Nasuti as our January Student of the Month! There are so many wonderful things to share about Bella! She is well-rounded in her academics and her extra-curricular pursuits, but she always puts being a student first. She completes high-quality work and pushes herself to grow outside of her comfort zone. Bella is not content to do "just enough"- she wants to excel. If she doesn't understand the material, she has the mindset and work ethic to know that growth comes with hard work and consistency. Bella is kind, empathetic to others, and displays maturity in the classroom. She "shows up" every day and embodies the characteristics of being WEST STRONG. February Student of the Month
March Student of the Month
Kate's smile says it all! She has exuberance and energy for days, and she brings all of that into our classrooms. Kate awesome personality is matched by her incredible work ethic and willingness to be a friend to everyone. She is a strong written and verbal communicator and loves discussing what we are learning in class. She makes strong connections and thinks critically about the content. Kate is one of those students who leads with her heart, lights up every room, and goes out of her way to make someone's day better. Thank you, Kate, for representing what it means to be WEST STRONG every day. Congratulations on being named our February Student of the Month!
Alexa Molitor
This year, Alexa has demonstrated her ability to be hard-working, conscientious, and responsible. She has balanced her academic skills by always coming to school with a positive and personable demeanor. She is an academic leader in the classroom setting who sets lofty goals, which she consistently achieves for her work, asks questions, and works productively with peers. She demonstrates all the skills of a well-rounded student athlete, balancing perfectly the demands of school and her extracurricular activities. Alexa, thank you for all of your hard work this year, and congratulations on being named our March student of the month!
April Student of the Month
The Journey Team proudly chose Ella Deviney for our Student of the Month for April 2025. Anyone who knows Ella sees the quiet confidence that she possesses. She leads each day with grace, gratitude, and maturity that shows she is truly ready for the next part of her journey at the high school. Ella goes out of her way to make others feel comfortable, included, and a part of the classroom. She is a leader amongst her peers, and many students call her a friend. We are proud to have Ella represent our team- she displays so many of the qualities that we honor in our students. Congratulations, Ella! You are awesome!
May Student of the Month
We are so happy to announce Jack as our May student of the month. All year long, Jack has led our student population with kindness, confidence, and respect for others. He is not pushy with his leadership, but he quietly goes about his school day being a role model for those who do the right thing, think for themselves, and has an open-mind towards others. Jack will work with anyone in the classroom. He steps up to help others and is willing to extend himself for the good of the group. We are proud to have Jack represent the Journey Team because he embodies what it means to be West Strong. Thank you, Jack, for making us proud!!
