Teaching is an incredibly rewarding livelihood for me. I've been an educator in the Portola Valley community for 20 years. I invite my students to take risks and explore their challenges to help them focus on who they really are, and ultimately acquire the tools to lead a successful academic and social experience. I value teaching immensely and believe in the power of whole child engagement, which has allowed me to establish meaningful connections with my students over the years.
I am a multi-subject credentialed teacher. I obtained my credential from the University of Notre Dame de Namur. I received my National Board Certification for Teachers in 2011.
In addition to providing instruction for students, I have twice played an active role as a member on Site Council and Principal Advisory Committee. I have served as a debating coach for 5th graders. I ran a film rhetoric class for three years part of an after school enrichment program. I've also been a tutor for members of the Portola Valley and Woodside community. Lastly, I served as a proud director of Camp W: Performing Arts camp at Corte Madera School.
