This year, Coach Jones continues the journey at Pinnacle High School to mark his 11th year coaching high school golf. Coach Jason Jones brings over a decade of coaching experience, seven years of which were in scholastic sports. Jones played on the Sunnyslope varsity high school golf team as well. He also competed during his six-year tenure with the Air Force while stationed in Europe. Jones spent four years coaching baseball from club to high school and started Arizona's first high school trap & skeet shotgun team.
With his sights set on continuing his successful coaching career at Pinnacle HS, Coach Jones is ready to help support and guide the Pioneers to a winning golf season. Jones's coaching pedagogy is founded on relationship and team concepts. The 2025-26 season will embrace the sport through brotherhood, respect, and integrity, which are essential athlete characteristics to the spirit and culture of the Pinnacle Pioneer community.
