The PVSchools Community Education Department provides exceptional childcare programs. Through these programs, students are encouraged to learn and play in a safe, caring environment. Trained and caring staff supervise students as they participate in a variety of activities specifically designed to meet their needs for social interactions, cognitive development, and emotional growth.

Mascot Club students enjoy a rich variety of activities that aim to cultivate students' talents and interests. Lesson plans are aligned with Arizona Quality Standards for Out of School Time programs. Mascot Club sites are active places with many choices and opportunities for growth, such as large group games, art projects, active games and sports, and STEM-based projects.
School year Mascot Camp is for children enrolled in preschool (4 years old only) through Grade 6.
The Mascot Club before- and after-school program is available at most of our elementary schools. The program operates Monday through Friday when school is in session.
Morning hours are from 6:30 AM until the start of school.
Afternoon hours are from school dismissal until 6:30 PM
Students enrolled in Mini Scholars, Little Scholars and Pre-K programs are eligible to attend Mascot Club during the school year – for an additional fee at most locations. The Mascot Camp option is not available for 3 year olds.
The Thunderbirds Branch is a safe, affordable place for young people during critical non-school hours and during school breaks. We provide youth development programs that support a commitment to learning, positive values, healthy habits and high expectations for success as an adult. Professionally trained staff offer ongoing, caring relationships and connections to new friends, and reinforce a sense of belonging, personal accountability, civility, and civic responsibility.
