ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Amira and I am a member of the 2027 DAAPS senior class at Shadow Mountain High School. On campus I am involved on the Badminton Team, Speech Team, Future Healthcare Heroes Club, and the National Honor Society. Outside of school I enjoy volunteering at hospitals, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
For my senior capstone project I wanted to combine my passion for healthcare with an issue I see in a lack of health literacy. After participating in the 2026 Global Health Leaders Conference at Johns Hopkins University I found my passion for global health. In this project I hope to apply information I learn from doctors to outreach initiatives and research on local solutions. Stay updated on the project through this website!
