Mrs. Kleve

I grew up in Syracuse, New York with my parents and two sisters. After I graduated from Syracuse University, I packed my car with my cat and moved to sunny Arizona. I can't say I miss slipping on the ice and digging my car out of the driveway! Twenty seven years ago, I married my husband, Brian, who is a construction manager. We are very proud of our grown children, Andrew and Kayla. Andrew, who graduated from Cal Poly with an aerospace engineering degree, is currently working at NASA. Kayla graduated recently from Cal Poly and is now pursuing her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Our "other children" are our very spoiled cats and dogs. Their life goals are to eat and cuddle.

My undergraduate degree is in musical theater and my graduate degree is in education. This will be my nineteenth year teaching in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. I have taught kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, and honors.

I love reading, watching movies, laughing, spending time with my family, traveling, hiking and unfortunately eating chocolate. Making students laugh and watching them develop socially and academically are also on the top of my list.
