Welcome to Mrs Godfrey's Art classes! I am beyond enthusiastic to begin our journey learning together this school year. This will be my 10th year teaching and my 6th year in Paradise Valley. It is a real treat to be here at Boulder Creek because I was even a PV student myself and graduated from Pinnacle High School!

After graduating from NAU in 2012, I taught in a few different grade levels and content areas. Most of all, I have a sincere passion for all things creative and it has always been a dream of mine to teach Art full time.

Outside of teaching I love traveling, hiking, cooking, meditation, spending time with our dogs, yoga, being in nature, doing anything creative and (of course) watching great shows and movies!

My mission is to support and guide students in a space which is safe, engaging and enjoyable for all. My hope is students will thrive being their authentic selves. I strive to make sure my students needs are met, they will feel comfortable expressing themselves and continue to grow as individual "thinkers and creators". I hope anyone that walks into my classroom feels valued, prepared, encouraged and successful..... and they have FUN!! =)
