Today's Announcements
Each November, PVMS celebrates and recognizes Native American Heritage Month. The 2022 theme is: "45 Years of Advancing Indigenous People in STEM." This month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the significant contributions of Native people. Native American Heritage Month was initially celebrated in 1916 by the state of New York. And, in 1990, President George H.W. Bush established it as a month-long festival. Please visit the bulletin board on the first floor to learn more.
PVMS PRIDE - PV PRIDE is an acronym made up of many important character traits that the students and staff of PVMS demonstrate every day. PRIDE stands for perseverance, responsibility, integrity, determination, and empathy. When we demonstrate these qualities in our words and actions, it makes our school and community a wonderful, inclusive, and safe place to be.

Information:
STUDENT DROP OFF
Parents/Guardians: If you drive your student to school, students must be dropped off at the Student Drop Off Area, located in front of the High School sidewalk. This designated area is marked with a sign and the crosswalk is painted on the pavement. Please do not drop your student off in front of the Middle School, this is the bus lane. Also do not drop students off anywhere in the Middle School parking lot. This creates a dangerous situation.
Student safety is our priority. Thank you for your support.
STUDENTS TAKING ANOTHER BUS HOME
If you are sending your student home on a different bus with another student, a note MUST be brought in by both students indicating the date, bus number and name of the other student.
If a student goes to a different address for after school care, Transportation 845-528-8900 must be contacted in advance and a note must be sent in with the student on the day of the change.
CELL PHONES
Cell phones are not permitted during the school day or during lunch periods. Cell phones should be in the student’s locker AT ALL TIMES. Students, please remember to shut off the ringer. Students are not permitted to text / make calls from their cell phones during the school day. If a student needs to contact home, we have a phone in the Main Office that is always available to them. Cell phones may be used AFTER 2:36 dismissal.
Thank you.
