• The Teens~N~Kids Mentoring Program matches elementary age students with high school students as their mentors. Mentors are awarded community service hours for time served in the program. The program meets every Thursday in the Middle School All room, from 2:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.  Orientation is October 1, 2026 in the High School library.

• The Hudson Valley Irish Fest is returning to Peekskill’s scenic Riverfront Green on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Each year, the Fest draws thousands of visitors from across the Hudson Valley and beyond to celebrate Irish music, culture, food, and community. You will receive a certificate of completion for volunteering for one of two shifts.

• The Putnam Valley Historical Society is looking for volunteers for various events including their upcoming '76 in '26 Revolution 250 on October 3rd. Assist with guiding younger children at a games station, perform music from the Colonial era, or help generally where needed. No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! From beginners to science superstars, everyone is welcome!

• PVHS Guitar Club

Do you play the guitar? Do you want a place to jam with friends? Do you want to learn how to play the guitar? How about learning the Ukulele? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, The PVHS Guitar Club is for you! All are welcome to attend all Wednesdays during lunch or just once in a while, and there is no formal sign-up. Just come down with or without your guitar and enjoy the time playing music alone or with friends. If you have questions, see the club advisor - Mr. Odell. Hope to see you on a Wednesday!
