High School

ENL students at Putnam Valley High School receive services through both integrated co-teaching and stand alone ENL classes, depending on the student's level of English proficiency. 

There are currently 2 ENL teachers at PVHS:

• Julia Nelson (ENL and Social Studies)

• Alyssa Himmelfarb (ENL and English)

PVHS also utilizes an Achievement Center with the ENL teacher in order to review class material in all classes and build up the confidence and proficiency of ENL students.
