My name is Abby Hilst, I am from Germantown Hills, Illinois. I am elated to be starting my second year as a 4th grade teacher at PVIS. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2018 with my degree in Elementary Education. Go Redbirds! My ultimate goal as an educator is to match students' potential with an endless stream of learning opportunities. I aim to teach in a way that promotes creativity, innovation, curiosity, and passion for learning.

I come from a large family with three sisters and one brother. I spent my summer teaching the Summer Panther Program and coaching swimming. Hi! My name is Bethany Barber. I am beginning my fifth year teaching this fall. This will be my third year teaching 4th grade at PVIS. Before coming back to my hometown of Peoria, I taught two years of 5th grade in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I graduated from Huntington University in May of 2015.

I have a wonderful little family that I adore! My son Lincoln is 2 and Henry was born this past April. Most of my summer was spent playing legos and running in the yard with Lincoln, caring for my sweet baby, and moving to our new house! I look forward to getting to know you and your child! This is going to be the best year ever!
