Independent Reading

Reading is a must!!!

It is our goal that you will learn to LOVE reading (if you don't already!), but until that happens, please know that it is very helpful!

Independent Reading consists of students retrieving a copy of any age appropriate book of interest, ANY BOOK OF INTEREST, and reading for pleasure! Books can be obtained from teacher classroom libraries, PMS library, the local library, or you can even make your own out of school purchases. 

You have opportunities in class to share info about your books thorough book talk, book reviews, partner pair/share and discussions.

 To that end, let's get busy reading!!
