Welcome to Accounting 1
This year we will explore the basic topics of Accounting by using the accounting cycle as our guide. Throughout the year, you be introduced to new vocabulary or familiar vocabulary with new meanings, as well as learning how to journalize or post, create financial statements, and much more. Be prepared to work hard and learn a lot.

Procedures
Assignments related to each lesson will be posted on Google Classroom, so check it regularly.
Get assignments graded immediately when completed
Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the period, so be sure to arrive before the bell rings so you are not marked absent/late.
Cell phones and headphones are put away once class starts.
Expectations
Bring a PENCIL and ERASER to every class. You will use them most days. A pen is NOT a good idea!
Check Google Classroom regularly as videos and assignments will be posted there.
Read and follow all directions
Ask questions when help is needed.
Be HONEST - do your OWN work, don't make excuses, etc.!
