After graduating with a teaching degree from the University of Iowa, Mrs. Caley landed in Eldora, Iowa where she spent two years teaching a 1st and 2nd grade combination classroom. From there she headed back home to Moravia, Iowa to look for a teaching position that was a little closer to home. That is when she became a Putnam County Midget. She began teaching at Putnam County as a Kindergarten teacher. Before becoming the Elementary Librarian, she also taught in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Caley has coached Junior High softball, Junior High and High School basketball, and is currently the Elementary Yearbook Advisor.

Mrs. Caley enjoys camping with her husband and son, traveling, reading, working out, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.
