Editor-in-Chief
Kasyn is a senior who has been a member of The Clipper Current for three years. He originally joined when it was the Media & Marketing club his sophomore year when three seniors put together their school improvement project. Outside of The Clipper Current, he can be seen helping to lead other clubs such as dance, National Honor Society, Tri-M, Clipper Chamber Choir, and Class officers. He is also an active participant in the drama club taking on various positions from being an actor to the choreographer. In the spring he is a varsity player for the Putnam Boy’s Volleyball team. On the rare occasion that he has free time, Kasyn enjoys reading, watching tv, and taking naps.
Managing Editor
Ayla Daniels is a junior at Putnam High School and Managing Editor for The Clipper Current. Ayla has been in the club for two years. Outside of The Clipper Current, Ayla is a varsity volleyball and softball player at Putnam, the Co-Putnam High Athletics social media director and photographer, and the treasurer for the Putnam II Leos club. In her free time, Ayla is always in the gym, hanging out with her friends, or binge watching her favorite show Supernatural.
News Editor
Sydney Barber, a junior at Putnam High School, is the News Director of The Clipper Current and has been in the club for one year. She spends her time volunteering with the Putnam II Leos club, playing both competitive and school volleyball, and being involved with other school clubs such as the yearbook club.
Arts & Entertainment Editor
Delanie is a junior at Putnam High School and the Arts and Entertainment Editor of The Clipper Current. She joined in the beginning of her junior year because she wanted to branch out and write more. She enjoys getting involved in the community serving as a board member for the Putnam II Leo’s Club. She loves music, theater, coffee, and books. Her favorite things include the color green, poetry, romance, Taylor Swift, Pierce the Veil, and froyo. After high school she plans to become a family law attorney.
Sports Editor
Nicholas is a senior and a three year member of The Clipper Current. Nick was one of the original members of the club, joining when his brother and two other alumni co-founded the Media & Marketing club in 2024. Nick is also a three-sport varsity captain in soccer, basketball, and baseball, and participates in many clubs on and off campus. He is the Vice President of the Class of 2026, a member of the National Honor Society, and is also the Vice President of the Putnam II Leo Club, a local community service organization. Academically, Nick takes on multiple ECE and AP courses, but is able to balance his loaded schedule with his passion for exercise, napping, and spending time with his dog, Shadow.

Elieana Ionkin is a Junior at Putnam High School and a staff writer for The Clipper Current. She has been in the club for 2 years. Outside of The Clipper Current, Elieana is involved in Student council where she holds the position of vice president, class officers where she holds the position of president, yearbook club, and national honors society. Elieana is also a prominent athlete at Putnam High School competing in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She loves staying active physically, and in her community. Elieana hopes to see The Clipper Current continue to expand and grow.

TJ Espinosa is a freshman at Putnam High School and a newcomer this year to The Clipper Current. After expressing some interest in the club, the Managing Editor, Ayla Daniels, invited him to join them at the next meeting. He volunteers with the Putnam II Leos club and also plays basketball and baseball. TJ also has a rambunctious and magnificent young pup named Lilah.
