Ntakarutimana, Emmanuel

Emmanuel Ntakarutimana op, of the Vicariate of Rwanda and Burundi of the Canadian Province, chairs the Office for Evangelisation of the Burundi Catholic Bishops’ Conference and runs the Ubuntu Centre for the promotion of peace and reconciliation in Burundi and the Great Lakes Region. He has also chaired the National Independent Commission for Human Rights of the Republic of Burundi from June 2011 to June 2015.
